Sukhman Singh

Legal Assistant / Punjabi & Hindi interpreter

Born in Punjab, India, Sukhman spent a significant part of his life residing with his mother and grandparents in India. His journey took a turn when he relocated to the United States, joining his father who had established a home in the country over the past 20+ years.

Sukhman's academic achievements include graduating from high school in Ridgeland, Mississippi, where he not only excelled academically but also showcased his skills in structural engineering. His participation in the National Structural Engineering Competition, hosted by the Technology Student Association (TSA), marked a notable chapter. Representing the Madison Career Technical Center (MCTC) at the state level alongside fellow members of the VEX robotics club, Sukhman gained valuable experiences. Additionally, he earned a certificate for his work on robots at the Nissan assembly factory in Canton, Mississippi.

Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Sukhman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State in 2021. Beyond academics, his diverse interests include pickleball, travel, outdoor activities, and weekend board games. Driven by a passion for technology, Sukhman aspires to make a mark as a successful inventor in the app development sector.

In October 2023, Sukhman joined Elmore Litton, initially serving as a Punjabi and Hindi interpreter. Since then, his role has expanded, establishing him as a valuable Legal Assistant. His contributions extend to handling immigration cases, notably collaborating with Nathan Elmore and John Conrace on defensive asylum cases and related immigration filings.

Sukhman's dedication to assisting others, combined with his versatile skill set, makes him an invaluable asset to the Elmore Litton team.
