Kimberlym Martinez

Legal Assistant / Spanish Interpreter

Kimberlym was born in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, and migrated to the United States at the age of nine, settling in Morton, MS, to live with her father. Despite arriving with no knowledge of English, she quickly became fluent by sixth grade with the help of teachers and friends.

Upon graduating from Morton High School in 2014, Kimberlym entered the workforce as a salesperson, achieving a promotion to assistant manager within a year. She also served her community by providing interpretation services in hospitals, clinics, and schools.

In 2016, Kimberlym joined Elmore Litton Law Firm as a receptionist and has since grown into her current role as a valued legal assistant and Spanish interpreter. She finds fulfillment in witnessing families reunite after navigating complex immigration cases, drawing from her own experiences of family separation.

Throughout her tenure at Elmore Litton, Kimberlym has continually expanded her knowledge and expertise while remaining dedicated to providing exceptional support to others.
