Nathan H. Elmore is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, pursued his legal education at the University of Georgia, where he earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1995.

Beginning his legal career with the Hinds County Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Elmore established his own law firm in 1998.

Since 2005, Mr. Elmore has geared his practice toward assisting immigrants from Mexico, Guatemala, and Latin-America. He also represents many clients from the states of Punjab and Haryana in India.

Mr. Elmore represents clients in Federal and State felony and misdemeanor criminal cases in the State of Mississippi. He has won verdicts of acquittal on charges ranging from DUI to murder. He handles removal matters in immigration courts throughout the country, particularly New Orleans and Memphis, and has won numerous cases at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Elmore has helped clients make large financial recoveries in worker’s compensation and personal injury claims. He regularly handles divorce, custody, and guardianship matters.

Mr. Elmore has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America and has conducted oral arguments before the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. He practices in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Mississippi. He has represented clients before the Supreme Court of Mississippi and the Mississippi Court of Appeals. He regularly appears in Circuit, Chancery, Justice, and Municipal courts all over the State of Mississippi.

Since 2011, Mr. Elmore has served as a consulting attorney to the Mexican Consulate in New Orleans. He resides in Jackson, Mississippi, with his wife and two daughters.
