Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Juanita brings her passion for justice and human rights to her work in immigration law. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Relations with an emphasis in Human Rights and Transitional Justice from Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia.

Before joining Elmore Litton Law Firm, Juanita worked on human rights research focused on South American countries and collaborated with a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable communities in Colombia. These experiences strengthened her commitment to serving others and deepened her understanding of the challenges faced by those seeking safety and opportunity.
